Here you go chaps.

Modified Framework and services.jar.

From sdk gingerbread.

Will add some piscs sone as i can.

Flash with Clockworkmod 2.5.1.3.

DO A BACKUP with clockworkmod just in case first.

9/11/2010 Update:

Fixed status bar text.

Added gingerbread style apk's.

10/12/2010 Update:

Fixed more status bar icons.

Added mod system apk fork gingerbread style power widget.

Standard boot screen added.

Added circle battery mod gingerbread batt colour hex codes add on at bottom of post. (Flash after theme)

21/10/2010 Update:

Fixed some icons.

Added bootscreen from nexus s.

Added ringtones and other notification tones from nexus s.

New updated CBM addon build with latest kitchen. (Flash after theme)

any chance of a version for FLB 2.2? ;)

FLB 2.2 will be updated at some point to be based on the new Chinese ROM so you should make the theme for the framework in that rom.

Right guys heres the Gingerbread for froyo, needs someone to fix the text in services.jar then i'll update the post ;)... so glad google finnaly decided to do something with the default notification bar :P

I haven't used Gingerbread so can't comment on what should be there, but Bazza, am I right in thinking that one of the things missing from this theme is the 'ticker' text you get in the notifications bar (i.e. "Successfully installed...")? Just noticed this today after installing something.

As the MDC r4 is based on the original orange rom it might work on roms based on it.

But as each dev makes changes to packages it could end in having to reflash phone.

This is why i say to back up phone first before install.

From the thread title I'd say he's probably only tested it with the modaco rom. If you do a nandroid backup first though there's no harm trying it on another eclair rom to see if it works.
