I tried the portable hostpot feature. Although the laptop connected to the phone, the internet won't connect. I tried the usb tethering. failed too. then, i downloaded wireless tethering from the market. Force closed. I tried barnacle and got some errors. After that, i change my rom to paul's modaco custom rom alpha3. and the result.. still the same. oh, and i'm not that stupid, i've got internet connection of course. i can browse with the browser app. Please someone help me.....

Guest Simon O Posted December 9, 2010 Report Posted December 9, 2010 I'm using the alpha 4 from the kitchen and USB tethering is working. Enabled it, Windows 7 detected the device and I didn't have to install any drivers. It just works .

It just works . how fortunate! by the way, i solved this issue using the pdaNet app. But it feels sorry that i couldn't use wireless tethering. Maybe i should wait for gingerbread to come hehe
