I believe that "Nandroid backup" tends to refer now to doing a Backup in ClockworkMod. Don't make me point out where that is in the ClockworkMod menu... ;)

The backup of your device goes onto the SDCard (in a directory called clockwork)

You can

• Rename it on the SD
  
• copy to your PC
  
• burn onto a CD and use it as a nice hat
