Angry Birds run slow with T-Mobile Pulse 691 Mhz

I updated with 2.1 custom ROM provide by this forum, it has A2SD working very well, all apk were installed on SD card. I start putting games on it.

The best games right now, will be Angry Birds, I installed.

my custom ROM has over clock to 691 Mhz, with SetCPU set to best performance.

running Angry birds, start up slow (expected), it just slow, not smooth....possible with the screen slow ? ;)

My wife has Sony Ericssion X10mini 2.1 500Mhz CPU, with setting any overclock or custom rom, it running very smooth.

Anyone has better guide to tune it ?

We'll have to wait for the devs to finish their Angry Birds "lite" for low end devices. Pulse hardware just simply not up to the job of running the Angry Birds engine.

It's barely playable for me.. I can't run any of the OC kernels though, even the 691Mhz causes the bootloop D:

it works fine on CM 0.4, even with overclock disabled...at least for me

I have CM 0.4 with 710MHz kernel and it is so slow... Are you using the latest version or 1.3.5?

It's not the overclock, it's the lack of GPU. SE X10 Mini has a Adreno 200 GPU.

The U8230 GPU is Adreno 130 GPU. I assume it's nearly the same for the U8220.
