Anyone got LCD Density Changer working ?

Hi, I'm running Pauls 1.04 with performance pack, I'm sure LCD Density changer was working yesterday but today whenever I change the density it just reverts back to 160 after reboot, superuser permissions are all OK, only thing I've changed since yesterday is reflash with the smaller notification bar, any ideas ??

Cheers,

Yep, I got it working to a degree.

When I set the LCD Density it performs a reboot, and the image is at the new density but very dark. Press the POWER button quickly and the screen goes into sleep mode, press it again and the screen comes out of sleep mode and you can see your new LCD Density working.

However I think the standard screen density does come back after a full reboot.

If it's any consolation, after playing around a bit I came to the conclusion that the standard density was the best.

Yeah, thats pretty much what I was doing yesterday and I thought 150 looked better, but when I tried today it is still at 160 when it reboots and just asks if I want to accept new setting ?!?!?

I just changed the density to 180.

Wow. Everything just looks so much clearer and not as pixelated.

Try it :D

That's pretty much the equivalent of running windows with the "large fonts" setting, looks clear, but only because it zooms everything in, wasting space.

Yeah but imho it looks better. Readers like Pulse look alot better as before they looked grainy but now i can see them clearly.

Maybe just my eyes lol.

My 0.02 cents anyway.

edit - 180 perfect :D
