Desire rooted, AlphaRev S-OFF... now how do I go about changing the ROM?

Hi all

Used unrevoked to root then AlphaRev to get a HBOOT that ignores the S-ON flag. What is my next step in getting a new ROM on?

And what ROM should I look at for speed, best APPS2SD (I hate my phone running out of space!) and no loss of features from the standard ROM?

Cook and download a r9 or a r24 rom, put it on your sdcard, reboot in recovery, make a backup of your sdcard, make an ext partition and flash the zip file.

Sounds simple enough. Another thing, my HTC Magic used to unlock with the Menu button, so does my wifes HTC Tattoo. Is that easy to add, or is there a ROM with it already?
