Guest Al_Jolson Posted December 8, 2010 Report Posted December 8, 2010 Yeah I think I've had this before. I couldn't receive messages due to lack of internal storage. I had photo MMS messages in my inbox & sent items, which I deleted and freed up space. That seemed to sort it.
Guest Simon O Posted December 8, 2010 Report Posted December 8, 2010 (edited) Open the messaging app then press the Menu button then press Settings. Do you have a text message limit set? Which ROM are you running? Edited December 8, 2010 by flibblesan
Guest 2smart4class Posted December 10, 2010 Report Posted December 10, 2010 Open the messaging app then press the Menu button then press Settings. Do you have a text message limit set? P.S. i have no mms messages,
Guest nonamer123 Posted December 10, 2010 Report Posted December 10, 2010 Do you have saved messages on SIM ?
Guest Rusty! Posted December 10, 2010 Report Posted December 10, 2010 Android does not save messages to the SIM, if you have low internal storage, messages will be rejected.
Guest nonamer123 Posted December 10, 2010 Report Posted December 10, 2010 Yes but when coming from another phone perhaps internal sms-storage of sim is full and fabricate this problem?
Guest Rusty! Posted December 10, 2010 Report Posted December 10, 2010 Nope. The OP states he's getting low space warnings, and if you have a low space warning when a message is received, it gets rejected. Pants system I know, but that's how it is.
Guest peige Posted December 30, 2010 Report Posted December 30, 2010 (edited) Did you solve this, my daughter is getting the same message and claims she has deleted all the text messages too ? Using Handsent and bladevillian. Personally I don't think she can be deleting them but I'm not with her and can't see the phone. Edited December 30, 2010 by peige
Guest 2smart4class Posted January 13, 2011 Report Posted January 13, 2011 er, i got something called 'cache cleaner' from the market place, that seemed to work.. although ive switch to the r6 jellyfish rom so no probs there..
