I only have 1 txt in the inbox???

i have a low disk space warning on my phone but txt messages are to do with the sim storage not phone storage. anyone else have this problem???

what??..ahh..i don't think it should give such problem, everything are save in internal space.

Yeah I think I've had this before. I couldn't receive messages due to lack of internal storage. I had photo MMS messages in my inbox & sent items, which I deleted and freed up space. That seemed to sort it.

Open the messaging app then press the Menu button then press Settings. Do you have a text message limit set?

sry for the late responce. Im running pauls r4 rom, using handcent app. Ive gone into setting but i cant see anything relating to storage limits...?

P.S. i have no mms messages,

Do you have saved messages on SIM ?

Android does not save messages to the SIM, if you have low internal storage, messages will be rejected.

Yes but when coming from another phone perhaps internal sms-storage of sim is full and fabricate this problem?

Nope. The OP states he's getting low space warnings, and if you have a low space warning when a message is received, it gets rejected. Pants system I know, but that's how it is.

Did you solve this, my daughter is getting the same message and claims she has deleted all the text messages too ? Using Handsent and bladevillian. Personally I don't think she can be deleting them but I'm not with her and can't see the phone.

er, i got something called 'cache cleaner' from the market place, that seemed to work.. although ive switch to the r6 jellyfish rom so no probs there..

Back up your SMS to gmail with this app then delete all ur messages ;)
