Guest MIKEYMC Posted December 8, 2010 Report Posted December 8, 2010 Having played sliceit recently and realised the multitouch is seriously out of whack I was just wondering if its the same for everybody on the phone. Download a multitouch test app and see what happens. Then post here what ROM your running and whether it worked properly or not. I'm on Pauls froyo alpha 4 and its really bad.
Guest Jack Andrew :) Posted December 8, 2010 Report Posted December 8, 2010 YUSS!, Somone with my problem!
Guest jayhix Posted December 8, 2010 Report Posted December 8, 2010 i have noticed this on slice it, im using flbs froyo R3 build, not really a massive problem them as i hardly ever use multitouch atm
Guest PeTiNgA Posted December 8, 2010 Report Posted December 8, 2010 This is a "common" issue with some touchscreens, not only SF. Nexus One also have the same problem, you can check it here: AFAIK there's nothing we can do.
Guest MIKEYMC Posted December 8, 2010 Report Posted December 8, 2010 Sebastians r6 ROM. Works fine. Hmmm this interesting.
Guest minz007 Posted December 9, 2010 Report Posted December 9, 2010 i've found that multitouch works better in 2.1 roms than the beta 2.2 roms (could just be me) however when you hold it on the screen for a long time the touch detects it opposite to how you are touching it which sometimes is wierd especially in slice it
Guest rjm2k Posted December 9, 2010 Report Posted December 9, 2010 If I remember correctly the SanFran (or at least some models) have the Synaptics ClearPad 2000 series in which is Dualtouch not multitouch http://www.synaptics.com/solutions/product...d#benefits-2000

How can you tell ? There's a movie on youtube with some kid doing two fingers on a multitouch test app, I think it is on a SF, and the registration/accuracy is pretty bad at times, but it doesn't need to be perfect either to work from our point of view. Still Dual better nothing. Got zoom/pinch, rotate, and what looks like text selection in gingerbread. So what are these units missing ? What are 'Crumple' and 'scratch' used for ?

Shouldn't it still work properly?
