Have not got a ps3 yet due to my 360 running cheap games;-) will this work as per ?

Yep I gave up with this route, luckily I have a 5g ipog with rockbox.

For the time being though my PS3 is in limbo, as until the BD player revoke is fixed I am not going to gamble on the downgrade.

Silms are okay but fats loose bluray playback.

This should work on any device that uses the MSM72K usb driver. Unfortunitely with the 2.6.29 source the Blade doesn't. When the 2.6.32 source is release this should be an option.

Its the same story with the Pulse, except there is no official 2.6.32 coming for that.

The first step is to get MSM72K working. I haven't tried with the Blade, but had no success with the Pulse.
