charging issues with recovery

after installing the clockworkrecoverymod v 2.5.1.3 and rom manager ,the recovery always comes up while i am charging my desire hd,could anyone please help me with this issue,i really like to be able to put my phone off while its charging,th for help

not a lot we can do, the recovery comes up because it removed the animation of the charging battery, it still charges fine so no harm is being done.

same thing happens here...

i don't like it that you say nothing can be done about it ...

now it gives everybody access to my recovery menu if the phone is turned off

and on charge...

i'm sure it can be fixed and i really think it should be
