Hi,

the screen of my OSF got broken. It doesn't display anything anymore, and I can see some cracks, but it's not the glass that is broken.

I'm in Germany and bought it via ebay. What should I do?

Not much you can do, other than try to find a new screen.

Who did you buy it from? Wherever they bought it, it will still be under warranty, as it's only been available for a few months. If you post it back to them, they should get it repaired / replaced, and then send a new one out to you.

Okay, thanks. I already wrote the ebay seller, now I'm waiting for a request.

Do you know if Orange will build in an OLED Screen like it's now or will they assemble a LCD Screen?

Edit: @Raspa: Do you know where I can buy a new screen?

A cracked screen won't be covered under warranty.

multipla - I haven't seen anywhere selling screens yet, sadly.

Hm, a friend from me made the damage to my mobile, is it possible that Orange repairs my phone not under warranty, but for money. Because if Orange can make an estimation of cost of replacement for the screen, the insurance of my friend could pay the repairing.

(I don't know how I should write that in English, i hope you understand the text :))

I understood it perfectly, no worries. :)

I'm not sure how orange deal with out-of-warranty repairs, I imagine they will charge you X amount and replace the phone - but that is just a guess.
