Hello, I have just edited the base 1.04 rom with the android kitchen.

I am waiting for my device to recharge before i can try it out, but i have removed the vega help app, and the whsmith one,

also i have enabled DarkTremors A2SD,

also with of course pauls permission NEEDED! i have for the time being added all of his performance pack editions into the rom (Private use only at mo, untill i get permission from paul to include this)

NOW I HAVE NOT TESTED YET SO THIS MIGHT NOT COME OF ANYTHING!!!!

WILL POST BACK ONCE I HAVE HAD A CHANCE AND THE COURAGE TO FLASH THIS TO MY VEGA.

FINGERS CROSSED FOR ME EVERYONE.

Sounds good.

Just a thought, but seeing as the performance pack is only available to the members or the "ad free" on this forum, I doubt he'll be happy for you to release it.

However Apps2SD would be welcome here if it can be implemented.

thats why im gonna make 2 versions one with performance pack to help paying subscribers, and 1 without performance pack for those who would like to try.

but lets see if it works first,

im just waiting on device to charge, also there is no recovery added to this rom so hopefully it will keep clockwork mod on there.

also im shizzing myself as i only got this last week, but i suppose someone has to try and why not the person who made rom. ARRRRGHGHGHGHGH!

this was during install, will try editing the update script and see what happens.

EDIT : Looks like a no go, I have googled the chown error And apparently it is a spl issue. Can anyone confirm this.

Any help will be really appreciated.

Does anyone know the base kernel address for the vega as im getting closer to getting apps2sd it would not mount the boot.img as its using the base address of the nexus one.
