Guest _Carl_ Posted December 10, 2010 Report Posted December 10, 2010 I bought my Orange San Francisco today (TFT :) ) and unlocked and rooted it however the Superuser app isn't in the menu... however the recovery works fine (even though it's upside down lol)

How have you rooted?

Guest Ash_P Posted December 10, 2010 Report Posted December 10, 2010 oh I see well then I haven't rooted i've only installed clockworkmod... :) will look around for rooting guide Clockwork is a recovery tool, and a way to install ROMs. Most ROMs include root so you may want to install one and go from there http://android.modaco.com/content/zte-blad...and-other-roms/ Otherwise you should be able to root the stock rom by using UniversalAndroot from the market.

Guest cgk Posted December 11, 2010 Report Posted December 11, 2010 (edited) Installing clockwork has nothing to do with rooting. How have you rooted? I did this as well, the video of Paul on Youtube shows him installing Clockwork and then superuser appears on the device, he then flashes the device - I think this is where the confusion comes from.
