Guest _Carl_ Posted December 10, 2010 Report Posted December 10, 2010 I've tried rooting my phone using Universal Androot however for some reason it won't stick after a reboot I will no longer have root permissions unless I run Universal Androot again :) (and the Soft Root option is unticked) any ideas? is there a better way to root this version of the phone? Thanks in advance
Guest That-Guy Posted December 10, 2010 Report Posted December 10, 2010 Which version of Universal Androot are you using? Try this version: http://uploading.com/files/59e2abc2/UniversalAndroot.rar/ Good Luck :)

That's the point at which you plug into USB and start typing commands into your computer. Have you installed clockwork yet?

Guest Dovbush Posted December 27, 2010 Report Posted December 27, 2010 Thanks, I got that version from somewhere else and after 5 or 6 attempts at rooting and un-rooting it finally stuck :( INSTALLATION: - Copy zip of the desired ROM flavour to SD-card. - Boot into recovery (volume down + power on) **BEFORE FLASHING, MAKE A NANDBACKUP FIRST!!** - Wipe data/cache unless you are reinstalling - Install zip from sdcard
