Guest Matty-p Posted December 11, 2010 Report Posted December 11, 2010 ok, so any pointers on how to compile a image from kernel source it not quite as simple as that but head over to a few of the development threads for 2.2 and this thread for 2.3 and read and learn and maybe contribute (especilly 2.3) or google 'rom cooking for beginers' or similar here have some links :) http://android.modaco.com/content/zte-blad...3-for-san-fran/ 2.3 thread https://github.com/jvaughan/san-francisco-kernel/ .29 git hub
Guest hecatae Posted December 11, 2010 Report Posted December 11, 2010 thank you, found dsixda's kitchen as well
Guest hecatae Posted January 12, 2011 Report Posted January 12, 2011 (edited) just and update, found a plug in for dsixda's kitchen which does all the hardwork for you, going to see if I can script the zte vendor tree into it, so everything gets automatically applied my other idea is 2.1 boot.img, create a 1.6 system.img and backport parts of eclair to it, like the ril and telephony framework Edited January 12, 2011 by hecatae
