Some new CPU schedulers being merged into Linux kernel recently. Patches added to N1 with positive results http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread...light=scheduler

Can we add them in one of SanF kernel? Maybe on a stable 2.1 rom for performance testing?

Absolutely no point. Nobody has proven that have better results with the patch, only 'feels better'. If you read the thread you will see many people are sceptical of this and the patches have even been tested by the Cyanogenmod team with no advantage. They also give reason why it won't make any difference for Android devices.

So it's a nice thought but.. really no point adding it to the kernels.
