Guest ZTE Posted December 11, 2010 Report Posted December 11, 2010 Have you seen the crazy prices people are asking for SFs on eBay? There's one on there for £189, for crying out loud! :) Raving mad...
Guest That-Guy Posted December 11, 2010 Report Posted December 11, 2010 I bet people will be silly enough to pay that too :) :)
Guest Simon O Posted December 11, 2010 Report Posted December 11, 2010 I'm waiting for the "OMG R@RE OLED SAN FRANCISCO" listings.
Guest clivec Posted December 11, 2010 Report Posted December 11, 2010 Yeah, i've been thinking that, I think I must have managed to snap up one of the last few oled ones. As soon as I read they were switching to tft I enquired at the local orange shop. Turned out to be oled, so i thought i'd grab another while I could lol.
Guest southpaw1 Posted December 11, 2010 Report Posted December 11, 2010 actually seen one go for £270 , with a froyo rom on from this very site
Guest Grexeo Posted December 11, 2010 Report Posted December 11, 2010 I wonder how much Paul's white OLED beauty would go for...
Guest zuti Posted December 11, 2010 Report Posted December 11, 2010 Ahem, so there are white OLED ones also? Now I am confused :)
Guest akh1989 Posted December 11, 2010 Report Posted December 11, 2010 have been going crazy looking on ebay for a decent priced one coz orange won't accept my non-UK credit card ... finally got one for 103 yesterday :)
Guest buneech Posted December 11, 2010 Report Posted December 11, 2010 Ahem, so there are white OLED ones also? I don't think so, Paul swapped screens :)
Guest zuti Posted December 11, 2010 Report Posted December 11, 2010 I don't think so, Paul swapped screens :) So, basicly, there are white ones with OLED :( Just joking a bit. Though, what strikes me as odd is that there are no 3.5" OLED units up for sale at ebay. It was the first thing that popped up in my mind. This SF is quite spread out now and also popular. I bet that you'll get a replacement screen from china that is OLED for 20pounds, postage free  It's extra profit for someone so, why not :P Must ring up Samsung to do this after they increase their production lines :)
Guest xenopod Posted December 11, 2010 Report Posted December 11, 2010 what amazes me is that no one is offering a warranty on the phones either lol, and yes its people from this forum selling them on EBAY i reckon, prices from £139 - £189 seen today, they should be ashamed, using peoples hard work from here and making a profit, well i hope it bites them up the bum and they cannot sell them
Guest biron_w Posted December 11, 2010 Report Posted December 11, 2010 I'm waiting for the "OMG R@RE OLED SAN FRANCISCO" listings. I saw one listed on there the other day with a "rare" amoled screen :)

Guest rjm2k Posted December 11, 2010 Report Posted December 11, 2010 Yeah, makes you wonder if these ROMs should only be available to paid-up members? :) And what about members who arent paid up but contibute? Whats to stop a paid up membrr profiteering? Anyway the kitchen is paid only.
Guest zZ-Zombi-xVz Posted December 11, 2010 Report Posted December 11, 2010 I saw one listed on there the other day with a "rare" amoled screen :) Sorry that was me :)
Guest tibbyltd Posted December 11, 2010 Report Posted December 11, 2010 actually seen one go for £270 , with a froyo rom on from this very site I saw that but I don't think the buyer paid up. Stupid if he/she did.
Guest cartierv Posted December 11, 2010 Report Posted December 11, 2010 (edited) ebay is quite heavily priced. I mean people want a lot of money for a beaten up old iPhone 3g with bits broken Edited December 11, 2010 by cartierv
Guest netdudeuk Posted December 11, 2010 Report Posted December 11, 2010 The other thing worth considering is that the 2.2 ones more than likely have an OS that isn't even out of alpha. The sellers should be warning about this.
Guest Cronnix Posted December 11, 2010 Report Posted December 11, 2010 (edited) Bough mine for £164, which is overpriced, but as much as they cost in my country (sweden), except for that swedish version have TFT screen. Despite seller charging quite extra, it feels still an "allright" price for the device considering the specs? Edited December 11, 2010 by Cronnix
Guest ZTE Posted December 18, 2010 Report Posted December 18, 2010 LOL - I've seen it all now. ;) Today there is someone selling the box - just the box, no phone or charger! What's that all about? :)

Guest Phoenix Silver Posted December 18, 2010 Report Posted December 18, 2010 (edited) it's crazy i have paid mine in orange's shop 140 pounds. with 5 euros pre paid credit. minus 50 euros of credit back (you must ask on web site) at all phone costed me 119 euros more or less 99 pounds. (tft one of course but don't matter for me). and there is a warranty :) Edited December 18, 2010 by Phoenix Silver
Guest majnu Posted December 18, 2010 Report Posted December 18, 2010 Have you seen the crazy prices people are asking for SFs on eBay? There's one on there for £189, for crying out loud! :) Raving mad... It's called supply with inflated prices due to the demand. Someone asked me on HUKD to get 2 OLED SFs for himself. I refused to get them anyway and then a member discovered that he had a few for sale on ebay lol. Bat agreed it's only because of the OLED hype that people are wacking the prices up and installing 2.2 Froyo (which is still buggy)
Guest HMZX Posted December 18, 2010 Report Posted December 18, 2010 yeah lol look at this one LIMITED EDITION?????? white WITH oled? not even possible its also £190 with the P&P lol
Guest steviem Posted December 18, 2010 Report Posted December 18, 2010 Do you think anyone would buy an OLED with broken SIM reader pins? I just bought a replacement SF because I bought a car at the start of the month and want to use Google Navigation (which needs data, and no SIM card kind of restricts that for me...).
