Guest pechenie Posted December 11, 2010 Report Posted December 11, 2010 I wonder if there standalone update.zip to enable this feature for Liquid[E]? Or something about sound quality improvement, it is actually very sick for stock Liquid. If there no standalone update could you recommend some custom ROM with this improvements? Months ago I saw that LCR do have this option, but now I didn't find it in description. Thanks.
Guest Rajit Posted December 11, 2010 Report Posted December 11, 2010 We have DSPmanager: http://android.modaco.com/content/acer-liq...-v2-13-11-2010/
Guest Harness Posted December 11, 2010 Report Posted December 11, 2010 DSP is also in Metal Froyo. Dolby however, sit patient, it's not an easy fix.
Guest pechenie Posted December 12, 2010 Report Posted December 12, 2010 (edited) DSP is also in Metal Froyo. As I understood, DSP do not provide any sound quality improvement out of the box, but tweaking equalizer may do the trick? Dolby however, sit patient, it's not an easy fix. No doubt it's not, but don't we already seen Dolby Mobile feature in one of past LCR roms? Or it was something else? It is not very clear to me :) Anyway, thanks for answers. P.S.: Harness, I see you working on Dolby feature, how it goes? Edited December 12, 2010 by pechenie

Guest vache Posted December 12, 2010 Report Posted December 12, 2010 It is "in" lcr f, but will crash the phone if you try to use it. Because it is not ported to liquid yet It was in LCR-S (based on a Acer Stream dump, that have Dolby working), not in LCR-F. Now that Froyo update is avalaible for the Stream, we should be able to make it working on LCR.
Guest Harness Posted December 14, 2010 Report Posted December 14, 2010 P.S.: Harness, I see you working on Dolby feature, how it goes? Bad. Very ugly bad.
Guest Apocangel Posted December 16, 2010 Report Posted December 16, 2010 If you just want it to listen to music you can try downloading Power AMP from the market. The trial version still works for me even though i haven't paid for it. The Inbuilt Equalizer works great. A little tweaking and you wont really need Dolby.
