This isn't a great help, but radio works fine here (not a great sound, but it works).

Checklist:

- Plug in wired headphones

- Tune in manually to a known station

- Go out into the open (remove any possible interference)

I'm using a custom bake from modaco's oven (R4)

Just wondering, is there a way to "Hack" the radio so you don't need the Headphones conntected?

I know they are used as the Antenna but still interested to know.

Well, if it's a hardware limitation it's a bit harder... I would like to get my hands on the code, to make some improvements (like setting the radio name, it only stores the frequency) but I cannot find it, even in the kernel source code, I don't know if ZTE released the code. If it's based on standard libraries I would make my own version but I doubt it, I think that it's based on some ZTE libs :)

If anyone gets his/her hands on the code, please PM me or post the code somewhere in the forum :)
