Guest Cronnix Posted December 11, 2010 Report Posted December 11, 2010 I have stumbled upon the following two movie apps: http://www.androlib.com/android.applicatio...efone-ijqF.aspx http://www.androlib.com/android.applicatio...droid-jwpw.aspx However, when I try using QR code to locate them on market, I find nada. Update time on the androlib says it was updated recently (92h), and on flixsters page it says they have an app for android. However not a single trace of them in the market. I am new to android, so a simple question: Am I doing something wrong, or the apps were simply removed from the market just recently.
Guest targetbsp Posted December 11, 2010 Report Posted December 11, 2010 (edited) Both of them are for finding movie times in America. I'm guessing from your flag icon that you're not american ... :) Edited December 11, 2010 by targetbsp
Guest Arr Too Posted December 11, 2010 Report Posted December 11, 2010 Market shows you a filtered view of the apps that are deemed to be suitable for your phone. It's only recently that Angry Birds became visible for owners of the Orange San Francisco, for example. And things like Google Earth and Flash may never become available for us for hardware/technical reasons.

I guess it then filters those apps since they are for us.. Thanks for the clarification, I guess there is no way/use trying to bypass the filter.
