Quick ROM Recommendation - Mid Dec 2010

Every 3 or 4 months, I drop back here for an upgrade.

I take a pretty simple approach and I use that Acer Liquid Recovery Tool to install a ROM.

Can anyone make a quick recommendation or post to a link to a good recent ROM to install.

I love FroyoMetal. I've found nothing that doesn't work and it's pretty fast :)

Using LCR-F, love it.

Too lazy to switch ROMs atm but thinking about checking out LiquidMetal or Roggin's Cyanogenmod port

If you want perfect and stable ROM to use for next months, choose LCR-F

Also keep your eyes out for an upgrade to LCR-F version 2. Malez is working on a new build, so we're all pretty excited :)

Waiting for a gingerbread dump. We'll see what happens with that. In the meantime lcr-f or liquid metal 2.75 just came out.

another vote for FroyoMetal ROM here, especially like the camera upgrade and it's about 25% faster than stock froyo.

Im using roggins cm6.1 v1.2 and loving it! Fast, and theres about 200mb free space for software! Sry my bad english :)

Could you guys rank LCR, cyanogen port, metal?

I use LCR and so far have been happy. Very stable, everything works.

Based on what I have read:

I hear LiquidMetal is faster. I think everything works but I am not a 100% sure (Dolby is being fixed but Dolby wasn't included with our original Liquid nor is it on any other FroYo ROM).

Roggin/Xian's Cyanogenmod port has everything working except for tethering and camcorder.

I'm using Metal ROM and it's faster than previous 4.002.14 official. I never tried LCR so can't do comparison there. It seems that Metal ROM is another official Acer ROM so it has a lot of updated libs, most notable is the camera is way better. Also going forward I'm guessing Acer will upgrade Metal to Gingerbread and liquid A1 and E won't be updated anymore.
