i910 undetected tethering

I have tried many methods of tethering including the methods described for OmniaWMWifiICS with and without wireless, the stock internet share in programs, I have reset and tried many versions of software and hard reset phone in between attempts and installs just in case I have conflicts with installs. I am on the SaskTel network. I get the message "The remote party has ended this connection." PLEASE HELP...
