does anyone have an unwanted bricked SF? looking for a back cover!

Random i know, and i hope this is okay in the forum. Ive posted here previously trying to get a replacement back cover for my SF. I cleverly dropped mine cracking the cover. Ive tried a million places to get a cover bit cant. So as one final shut in the dark, i thought id see if anyone wud be willing to part with a bricked cover. Naturally i will pay postage etc and wud be happy to give a little extra!!!

Again hope this is okay in the forum - kinda last option! A few guys have mention they might get ones from china but nil luck todate.

before i knew about custom roms, the original 2.1 software for me was so slow that i bit straight through the back cover with my teeth in anger lol

I have one san francisco as spare or repair. I accidently washed it in machine.

It's true, the first round of backplates (before they were even shipped) all had to be re-made.

I Imagine some factory is churning as many out as possible - orange usually get them for spares - the late problem has probably delayed them.

Cracked screen on mine, i manged to sit on it in my back pocket.

oled is fine and still works but the glass is cracked.

If anyone has a bricked/washed phone that they would like to pass on please PM me. Id be happy to help ROOT/ROM your new phone should you get another. Please PM me.

Maybe there should be a thread for spare parts from unused phones.

I lost my back cover for my SF on christmas eve at the pub, I couldn't take it out with me at all for fear of losing/just not feeling comfortable with the back exposed all the time. I have posted asking if any1 knew where to find replacement back covers, only one guy replied and said he was getting some in, but it was chinese new year and they would be delayed, ill get his name for you if you want it.

Anyway that was until yesterday when my jelly back case came from ebay. I wasn't expecting it to work without the back cover as I thought it would need it to support the case, but it fits on perfectly. Ideally I would have liked a replacement back cover (the power button is still missing, had to cut out a bit of the jelly case so I can get to it) but its definitely a great fix if your paranoid about damaging/losing your sim card/battery, whatever it may be, like I was, until some actual replacement back covers come along!
