i found that launcher pro is really sluggish and lags alot on pauls froyo alpha 3 rom, is there anyway to fix this?

I use it - It does occasionally lag, but mostly its ok.

Maybe you should try the gingerbread one done by Paul (on the market)

Launcher Pro is in my opinion running very smooth on pauls 2.2. Is the Gingerbread theme faster than launcherpro (which is faster for me than the stock android launcher)??

I use launcher pro and it's fine try tweaking some of the prefrences I know I much prefer it with 10 opening speed on screen previews and 8 opening speed on the draw speed (it seems to cause rendering issues > 8 might be my phone)

edit: scrolling speed is a bit sluggish actually

What you need to do is go into advance settings in Laucher pre, make sure you have homescreen caching, then you need to go to memory settings, you will see a whole tone of presets, you need to choose high. Restart Launcher pro and see what you have :)

thanks for that but still no luck, its okay the only time it lags is when u go into the app drawer then it is realy laggy, when ever you scroll its really slow and bad.

Hmm Launcher Pro is as smooth for me as on my Desire really. On a mixup rom but more or less alpha 3 froyo.

are you using the prebake or did u use the kitchen? cud it be becuz it was a backup if so how wud i remove it cuz i remover the stock launcher aswell?

btw is any1 else experiencing laggy app drawer scrolling and has any fixed it.
