Htc desire with oficial 2.2 rom

Hello,

i have a htc desire with official froyo 2.2 no root,

i want to ask if is possible with this rom to move apps to sd card (i read that its possible with froyo 2.2 without root phone).

You can move apps so long as the app developer has enabled it

you mean that ,

if the programer have made the choice to move his application to sd card i can do this without rooting the phone?

if i want to move all application to sd card withoun programers choice ,i have to root it?

Yes, that is about it

Although there is an adb command to force the moving of apps without rooting but I can't remember it off the top of my head

pm setInstallLocation 2

Although it will crash Sense if you have any widgets on the screen. And it will possibly make your SD card unmountable on your PC because the apps won't allow it to be mounted.

This command made more harm than good on my phone.

i dont understund why the android phones have this problem with the apps and why the developers doesnt fix it.
