Guest negakinu Posted December 13, 2010 Report Posted December 13, 2010 (edited) Hey guys! Does anyone know if there's an easy way to replace the touch screen digitizer? My B7610 is pretty scratched up and I found a new digitizer for $15 on Ebay. Before I start breaking my phone I was wondering if anyone in here ever did this before? Any tips/suggestions? Thanks everyone! Edited December 13, 2010 by negakinu
Guest centodue Posted December 17, 2010 Report Posted December 17, 2010 (edited) I think that the best solution can be to find a service manual and to look some video with the instructions about how to operate for service. The touchscreen (I think) should be the most difficult spare part to change because it is requested to remove it by the front plastic without damage it and you need to open totally the phone to connect flat cable on the main board internally (very delicate and with possibility to have false contact if don't operate in appropriate way!) First of all: - try to find documentation for service - look some video with instruction how to operate - find the right instrumentation to operate without damage Good luck Giorgio Edited December 17, 2010 by centodue
