White Streak for GF

i have a black streak, rooted steve'd up unlocked etc. as the other thread states, best buy is running a $99 deal with new contract OR upgrade. My gf has at&t and is eligible for an upg. id like to get her the white one so we could tell ours apart, but not if its gonna be a grand pain in the butt.

Is it really THAT much of a pain in the butt? I probably wouldnt mod hers as much as i do mine but would prob unlock it in case we travel overseas.

is it possible to video chat if shes on 1.6 and im on steves 1.4.5

youd have to be on my 1.5 to get cam usable in the likes of fring, and yes the white ones are apain but qdltool can sharp sort that out

but its not impossible or super time consuming is it?

well time consuming isnt an issue as long as it doesnt require my full attention the whole time. i have plenty of time at work, but it gets interrupted by customers.

I can confirm. After drivers installed its easy peasy. Flashing anything after qdl tool is the same as if it isn't a white one any more.
