Guest WindyMiller Posted December 13, 2010 Report Posted December 13, 2010 Hi Guys New to this but pc savvy I hope :) Followed the excellent instrutions for installing clockword and rooted following Pauls guide. but the following is happening. NOT instaled a new ROM yet, could anyone recommend one for the the TFT screen that is stable? When I boot up the orange logo is BLUE, after a couple of seconds the screen cuts out, especially when dialing and it will not come back on again. Any help would be great
Guest fonix232 Posted December 13, 2010 Report Posted December 13, 2010 You flashed a clearly OLED SuperBoot image (MoDaCo MCRi Superboot by Paul) on a TFT device. Why don't you read before doing ANYTHING? You only need the recovery, and then a TFT-compatible ROM!

Guest fonix232 Posted December 13, 2010 Report Posted December 13, 2010 Yep, basically what you wrote. You screwed up. :) Just jokin' :) But yea, you only have to flash the zip from sd card, and you're done, reboot! Also, I hope you flashed ClockWorkMod 2.5.0.9, as 2.5.1.3 has a bug so it can't flash boot.img (and thus will leave you with the buggy kernel, blue Orange logo, etc).
Guest Phoenix Silver Posted December 13, 2010 Report Posted December 13, 2010 windows has its blue screen of death now it's the ZTE lol follow this link wiki modaco

Guest chevy cheese Posted December 15, 2010 Report Posted December 15, 2010 (edited) [edit] problem solved as described here [/edit] Also, I hope you flashed ClockWorkMod 2.5.0.9, as 2.5.1.3 has a bug so it can't flash boot.img (and thus will leave you with the buggy kernel, blue Orange logo, etc). Any chance to flash boot.img with ClockWorkMod 2.5.1.3? I restored the stock ROM with no results (still the 'blue' logos and no way out of sleeping mode besides removing the battery) :) Can i flash another version of ClockWorkMod over 2.5.1.3? Please help! :) Edited December 15, 2010 by chevy cheese
