Guest fudgeboy Posted December 13, 2010 Report Posted December 13, 2010 Bizarre problem with wifi on my Desire (MCR r9). Recently, the "Wireless & Networks" settings app has stopped working. It shows me the list of networks, and lets me choose one; it tells me the signal strength and gives me a "Connect" button; but when I click "Connect", the dialog box disappears and nothing happens. It just doesn't connect. I can connect to networks using WiFi Manager, so I know it's not a hardware problem. But it's annoying because I now need to connect manually to anything that "Wireless & Networks" doesn't already know about. If I go in range of a network that it already recognizes, it connects automatically, and there's no problem; it just seems that it's having problems adding new networks to its database of ones it knows (and so refuses to connect to them). Anyone come across this before? Any ideas? James
