Guest asdfdsaddaasdas Posted December 14, 2010 Report Posted December 14, 2010 (edited) Ok so, im really noob in this stuff and i guess what happened with me will prove it :) Anyway, i tried to install this on my phone, without knowing that it doesnt support it. My phone is the greek version of the ZTE Blade (which apparently has TFT screen). The result was that next time i opened my phone all colors were messed up and i couldnt raise or lower the brightness. Next i read from somewhere that i need Clockwork recovery to fix it, so followed this guide. What it didnt mention was where do i put the stock Rom etc, so i googled and found out that i have to download the stock ROM [Wind (Greece): ZTE Blade -WIND_P729BV1.0.0B02] and name it "mcri-system.tar.gz". And thats what i did but now each time i try to open my phone, it stacks at the android icon. (the green one which after few seconds becomes blueish). I dont know what to do now. i tried to open Clockwork vol down+power, wipe data and cache, then tried to install the custom bladevillian but i get an error saying: --Installing: SDCARD: romfolder/customised_bladevillain_1.1.0_fat_rls4.zip Finding update package... Opening update package... Installing update... Formating System... Copying Files... Formating Boot... E:Board doesnt support mtd utils.E:Failure at line 63: write_raw_image PACKAGE:boot.img BOOT: Installation aborted edit: I also tried to install the stock ROM from "install from sd card" option from Clockwork but still same error: E:Board doesnt support mtd utils.E:Failure at line 79: write_raw_image PACKAGE:boot.img BOOT: Installation aborted Ok, so i fixed that and installed the custom Bladevillian but it asks me for a network unlock sim PIN, even thought my phone is unclocked :) Can someone help me, please? Thanks in advance Edited December 14, 2010 by asdfdsaddaasdas

Guest StevenHarperUK Posted December 14, 2010 Report Posted December 14, 2010 downgrade your rocovery ot ClockworkMod Recovery 2.5.09 there's sth wrong with 2.5.13 work with some eclaire rom Yes I agree this will fix it
Guest jiggling john Posted December 14, 2010 Report Posted December 14, 2010 I made the same mistake - I reinstalled stock rom, stock recovery and stock boot and STILL couldn't get rid of the blue problem.... No one seems to have an answer for this - restoring roms does not fix the blue problem. Trust me.
