Guest Morris Lee Posted December 14, 2010 Report Posted December 14, 2010 I been testing for some time now, it seems that our touchscreen needs a little "rest" when the screen is off, you see, if I use 20/50, I can use it fine for ages with out problems CONTINUESLY!! There for I believe if we can some how change the touchscreen back to 75/75 when the screen is off, and change it to user value again when resumed(screen on, this should reduce the touchscreen "jumps" or "random touches" or "ghost" effects. I got codes to change the sensitivity, but who can write a service app for this?? Let's get this fixed!! Morris Lee
Guest jayziac Posted December 14, 2010 Report Posted December 14, 2010 I installed an aftermarket screen protector from ebay (thinner than the one that came with my Liquid), and I use low sensitivity. It requires a firmer press, but after getting used to it it's pretty responsive, and doesn't jump around like I notice sometimes if I set it to high. Maybe low setting ignores more electrical/static noise near the screen too.
Guest Morris Lee Posted December 14, 2010 Report Posted December 14, 2010 Different people's unit seems to tolerate differently, but I am looking for someone that can help me program this for a more perminent fix, and I do have a screen protector on too, still jumps from what I noticed
Guest Harness Posted December 14, 2010 Report Posted December 14, 2010 Define deploy it? Is it an .sh script, or what? Harness.

Guest Harness Posted December 14, 2010 Report Posted December 14, 2010 Okay, but how have you fixed it without setting it in boot? I'm already working on getting it working IN boot, but it'll only work on MetalFroyo

Guest Harness Posted December 15, 2010 Report Posted December 15, 2010 I was on a different page until you PM'd me. I know how to change the values and the path, that's no thing. Harness.
