Stuttering Audio via Bluetooth

Hi there,

I have a Bluetooth receiver in my car which connects to my AUX in so I can play music via the stereo.

I have setup my SF to connect to this and I can then play audit through fine.

However, sometimes I get stuttering e.g. the music stops playing every 10-20 seconds. I'm using stock 2.1 ROM with the stock music player, I tried Winamp but it was even worse. It only sometimes happens but I can't figure out when it's happening. It's as if my Bluetooth receiver can't cache the music fast enough, but regardless of whether I use a 320Kbps or 129Kbps MP3 file I still get the same issues.

Any thoughts?

ok when this happenes look on the media player on your phone has the media player stopped playing because then you now if the fault is in the phone or your bluetooth device

No problems here. I'm using Paul's Froyo and my Nokia BH-503 works fine.

i had this - turned off my wifi and it was fine.

Seemed to work for me too, maybe the disconnecting Wi-Fi is a blessing is disguise ... :)

I'm going to try Winamp again now and see how that fares.

yeah there is definately some wifi/bluetooth interference issue with my phone.

i couldnt understand why my car-phone connection was fine some days and not others. it was wifi off that fixed it.

was the same with both stock rom and pauls froyo r4.

it is a cheap car headunit though - not tried it with a bluetooth headset yet.

Could be just down to wifi struggling to a scan (and probably never able to connect to any of them).

Winamp now works (almost) flawlessly now, which is great! Much better than the stock 2.1 music player, even in it's current Beta release.

Thanks for all your help
