Guest BigBearMDC Posted December 14, 2010 Report Posted December 14, 2010 why zte Blade very fluent to play 720P video? please recommend excellent video player I doubt the SF can handle 720p videos properly. Its just not strong enough. Best regards, BB
Guest steve1221 Posted December 14, 2010 Report Posted December 14, 2010 Hardly a surprise. Playing 720p take a deal of cpu power, the SF/Blade isn't up to it the player software isn't the factor. . .

Guest LesMcQueen Posted December 14, 2010 Report Posted December 14, 2010 I'd very much doubt any player would play 720p, especially as the native resolution of the screen anyway is around 480p. Not only would the phone have to maintain a high enough data transfer rate, it would also have to downsample the video to 800x480 from 1280x720 Had some great success using Handbrake to downsize higher def. video to pay on the SF using Rockplayer. My re-encoded Toy Story 3 from a 1080p source looks fantastic. :)

Guest flatnote31 Posted December 14, 2010 Report Posted December 14, 2010 480 plays like a charm and should be no hassle (if the format is right!) I played 720p using SOFTWARE Acc in Rock Player...but it's soooooo choppy more importantly...who'd want to store a 720p video on a phone? :) :)
Guest heavyduty00 Posted December 14, 2010 Report Posted December 14, 2010 can u play hd movies on this phone?
Guest Azurren Posted December 14, 2010 Report Posted December 14, 2010 can u play hd movies on this phone? HD is a fairly loose term :) Playing videos at the max res the blade can handle, with the correct bitrate and FPS then it can look better than on the "big HD screen"
