Ah, so very nice to know there is a solution. This is going into the folder labeled "things I hope to never need to use, but I'd better have a copy of it somewhere just in case." :P

Do you have the orginal 2.1 Chinese ROM, I flashed with UK ROM before I backup, now I only has UK ROM with added chinese handwriting apps.

by the way, many said U8220-R6 has better hardware such as 512 ROM, 320 RAM, compare with normal old U8220 had 256 ROM, 192 RAM ?
