Guest heavyduty00 Posted December 14, 2010 Report Posted December 14, 2010 How long do i need to charge it for before using the phone when i first receive it? thanks
Guest steve1221 Posted December 14, 2010 Report Posted December 14, 2010 4 to 6 hours min, over night to be sure (well, that's what did and it runs 2 days+ now).
Guest rjm2k Posted December 14, 2010 Report Posted December 14, 2010 (edited) I did nothing special with mine, probably used up the juice already in it and then charge until it says it's done, or if switched off, until the leds indicate its done. Edited December 14, 2010 by rjm2k
Guest heavyduty00 Posted December 14, 2010 Report Posted December 14, 2010 kk would it be unwise to use the phone for a little bit while its charging? lol did u turn it on to charge or just leave it off and let it charge?
Guest insurgente Posted December 14, 2010 Report Posted December 14, 2010 i wanted to ask this as my is one the way :) when i played with one at the orange shop it had some charge on it........ so when mine arrives in the post, is it more advisable to leave it charging over night rather than using up any charge on it first?

With this type of battery just use it as normal The battery needs 3-4+ "run in" (Charging and discharging) before it will hold its max charge So in a few days of normal use the battery life will increase Edited December 14, 2010 by Azurren

Guest rbbrslmn Posted December 14, 2010 Report Posted December 14, 2010 hehe mine is on the way as well, hopefully arriving very soon i will just charge overnight pretty much, that would be ok? charging overnight is a relic of older type batteries and isnt necessary with any recent lithium ion batteries, such as that which is in the blade. that said doing so won't hurt it. its just not needed.
