Guest MatthewJEC Posted December 14, 2010 Report Posted December 14, 2010 I'v got Paul's froyo alpha 3 rom and was wondering if there was any way to change the lockscreen back to the one in 2.1?
Guest Russell Crawford Posted December 18, 2010 Report Posted December 18, 2010 The next version of Paul's froyo will have the stock lockscreen, you can choose it from the kitchen now if you are a premium or ad free subscriber but for now all we can do is wait until alpha 4 is released for everyone.
Guest jonathonf Posted December 18, 2010 Report Posted December 18, 2010 You can also flash the framework from another 2.2 ROM. I used a framework from a 2.2.1 Hero ROM (Cronos 1.7.2); very quick. But no radio. So a little pointless.

Guest steviem Posted December 21, 2010 Report Posted December 21, 2010 No Radio means no cell radio, rather than FM radio, so basically your phone won't work as a phone.
Guest rayraven Posted December 21, 2010 Report Posted December 21, 2010 ^Get an alternate lock screen from the market. Simply lockscreen is a nice alternative.
Guest Russell Crawford Posted December 21, 2010 Report Posted December 21, 2010 Could I just flash the framework from the FLB froyo rom? I think it uses the stock lockscreen.
Guest Xenon0816 Posted December 21, 2010 Report Posted December 21, 2010 You could use Widgetlocker... It costs you 2 bucks in the market, but it will give you not just the stock android lockscreen, but multiple others like an iphone like slider or the htc sense slider. And you can place widgets on your lockscreen, which is a cool feature as well!
Guest slitz Posted December 21, 2010 Report Posted December 21, 2010 Does it give a security lock screen as well? I hate the current pattern lock screen with a passion, why couldn't they have made it with a number code lock instead?!
