Guest paper doll Posted December 14, 2010 Report Posted December 14, 2010 My SF broke after a week and was supposed to be replaced with a new phone (which is only right, you don't pay full price for a second hand phone) but the box was scratched and battered and the new? phone has a couple of scratches and the back cover is really loose, the previous, definitely new one was really tight and hard to remove. Is there a surefire way to know if you've got a refurb? Apart from the principle the battery is the main worry, a secondhand battery is not going to last as long and keep a charge.

Seeing as the phones are relatively new then even if it is a refurbishment the battery can't have taken much damage whatsoever (Chances are if it is a refurbishment it was originally dead on arival and sent right back) If they had been out for longer then it maybe a concern.. But saying that I've bought tons of refurb gear (Including my laptop) and never had an issue
