Guest martinml Posted December 14, 2010 Report Posted December 14, 2010 (edited) I have just received an e-mail from TMN saying that it's already available to buy online in Portugal. Here are the specs and link from the TMN store: http://www.tmn.pt/portal/site/loja/menuite...0005401650aRCRD Note that it says explicitly that the model has a TFT screen. Guest buneech Posted December 14, 2010 Report Posted December 14, 2010 The design is also slightly different.
Guest martinml Posted December 14, 2010 Report Posted December 14, 2010 The design is also slightly different. Yeah, the keys are rounded, and it's... brown?!
Guest The-One Posted December 14, 2010 Report Posted December 14, 2010 (edited) There are more topics here with the same info, and yes its ugly and also the rom has been heavly modded with trash. Altough from what i know and since they inputed trash they also fixed the wireless sleep bug and the notification led. Edited December 14, 2010 by The-One
Guest StevenHarperUK Posted December 14, 2010 Report Posted December 14, 2010 Yeah, the keys are rounded, and it's... brown?! You do it injustice by missing out the smiling frog on the back.
Guest buneech Posted December 14, 2010 Report Posted December 14, 2010 Make a rom dump before you do anything. :)

Guest Blues003 Posted December 14, 2010 Report Posted December 14, 2010 ^^ this I have a ZTE Blade from another portuguese carrier. If you mind explaining how to make a ROM dump, I'll gladly do it.
Guest buneech Posted December 14, 2010 Report Posted December 14, 2010 Altough from what i know and since they inputed trash they also fixed the wireless sleep bug and the notification led. Especially if this is true. :)

Guest Migun Posted December 14, 2010 Report Posted December 14, 2010 (edited) I have a ZTE Blade from another portuguese carrier. If you mind explaining how to make a ROM dump, I'll gladly do it. Portuguese : Já temos uma ROM do SF da Optimus :) . http://android.podtwo.com/roms/stock/ (onde diz OPT) English: We already have the ROM from the Optimus SF (OPT rom in the link). I have a question, when dumping a rom, does it save our google account details? Edited December 14, 2010 by Migun
Guest Sebastian404 Posted December 14, 2010 Report Posted December 14, 2010 I have a question, when dumping a rom, does it save our google account details? all that 'private' stuff ends up on the user data area, and my program at least wont dump that.. if you do it manualy, all you need to dump is boot/recovery and the system areas.. I've seen a few clockworkmod backups that include the data area, but since I'm a nice person I never looked into them.
Guest lpinho Posted December 15, 2010 Report Posted December 15, 2010 (edited) This picture is different from the one in the TMN's site, strange... Which of the picture matches the real model? Is this really a ZTE Blade? Edited December 15, 2010 by lpinho
Guest Migun Posted December 16, 2010 Report Posted December 16, 2010 (edited) An user from a Portuguese forum has dumped the ROM, check your messages Sebastian :) Edited December 16, 2010 by Migun
Guest Sebastian404 Posted December 16, 2010 Report Posted December 16, 2010 An user from a Poruguese forum has dumped the ROM, check your messages Sebastian :) I'm on it... VERY interesting ROM
Guest Migun Posted December 16, 2010 Report Posted December 16, 2010 Now I'm curious, why is it very interesting? I know that its full of "crapware".
Guest Sebastian404 Posted December 16, 2010 Report Posted December 16, 2010 (edited) Now I'm curious, why is it very interesting? I know that its full of "crapware". well its one of the very few firewares where the Carrier has made an effort to brand it, OUK's first effort was a mess, the second slightly better, BOY did a quite good job of it, everyone has seems to of just put put a VERY basic un-customized rom. I'm not a fan of carrier branding, but I do understand WHY they feel the need... and so far TMN seem to of actually put some effort into it. The livewallpaper alone shows that... and yes I know its bloat, but if your going to have to have it, it might was well be worth the effort. Also I should say its the first Device that has not changed the standard Android Colour Scheme Edited December 16, 2010 by Sebastian404
