Vega Wallpaper Question

Hi guy's its my first post so be nice! :)

Just a question about the wallpapers on the vega more specifically the panoramic ones.

I know the resolution of the vega is 1024 x 600, so there for the wallpapers would most likely be the same size in pixels if it was just a static wallpaper?

Also say i was to design a panoramic wallpaper, i would take it that i would just multiply 1024 by which ever number of screens the device has which i dont know as of yet, i dont get mine till christmas so could some one please also tell me how many home screen android 2.2 allows.

Also iv noticed on some wall papers there is like a smooth scrolling effect and it dose not make a huge slide though the wallpaper just a slight one if you know what i mean.

By default dose android just take what ever wallpaper you have, stretch it and make it work with which ever number of screen you have? Also is it from left to right meaning first part of the wall paper (the left part) would be on the home screen (your first at at very left),

Dam this is hard to explain!!!!

I must admit I do the like the sound of that although I do not know if it is possible. As for the home screens that will depend on the launcher being used. I am using Launcher Pro like most which I believe you can have upto 7 home screens.
