Permanent export variables

I've just installed Pauls version of nano for android and was wondering if theres a way to save the exports so I don't have to type them every time. The exports are:

export TERMINFO=/etc/terminfo

export TERM=linux

I tried to add the exports to the init.rc as follows:

export TERMINFO /etc/terminfo

export TERM linux

But when the vega restarts it looses these values (I dont know if this should work). Is there another way to do this?
