Try having the phone disconnected from the computer while you put it into fastboot mode. Then connect the USB lead.

I dont understand why that thead link doesnt have the RIGHT drivers for the Fastboot mode. Those drivers in the first post just DONT work for the Fastboot mode.

The drivers you need for fastboot are here: http://www.easy-share.com/1912504577/usb_driver.zip

(For Win7 64bit)

Have you installed the drivers while in "android" mode (dont know the name)?

When win asks for drivers when connected using power on and vol up, choose search for drivers in a directory and then browse to where you unzipped the drivers and install.

Hope i was clear :) Been awake for 20hrs :)

Time for bed

^ Please note that the 'Windows 7' drivers on that site DO NOT work with Windows 7 64bit.

However, my link provided in post 3 does.

'Flibblesan ZTE Blade drivers for Windows' are the same drivers provided in post 6 & 7
