I've been on these forums from about a week before I got my phone. I have to say from the day I picked it up to now, this thing just gets better and better. The very day I picked up my phone I used the fix for Malez from Harness. Then, when I couldn't boot to android, Dario chilled me out and got me through it no problem. I don't know how many other little things I've picked up from here, but some recent notable treats were the gingerbread keyboard and today the ability to move all my apps to unused space on the system partition. SWEET!! So thanks again for helping me get the absolute most possible out of my phone.

I believe split2th may be referring to http://android.modaco.com/content/acer-liq...king-app2sd-v2/ which describes the method.

Good info! I didn't know how to do it either :)

And +1 to the thanks :) I spent a great deal of time roaming around the world wide web before I found this forum! I'd probably still be using a bloated stock system if it weren't for all the great advice and support here :(

Edit: now I see that wasn't the right thread  My bad!! I misread something here :P

Np. It's near the end of the thread. As of today. It's called root explorer. So easy to move all my apps without the need to get into console.

You posted your reply while I was writing mine so our communications slightly overlapped :) I posted it and then was l like... Woopsie :)

Yeah, in the OC thread I linked to, they were discussing the method for moving apps to sd by moving davlik in Malez recovery. Also quite important to know! Now i shall look into root explorer! Though I'm curious, is it possible just to use Astro to cut and paste between directories? Or am I missing something here?

OK. So I used root explorer to move all my apps to the system partition. It was totally easy, but, root explorer is not free. Worth the price tho. I'm already sure this will be on my phone forever. Anyways, get it, try it, then tell me how sick it is...

PS. Ok the only thing that sucks about root explorer is the fact that it doesn't have a trial period. At least as far as I know. I just got it. The problem is that the market now only gives you like 15 minutes to return an app(which is complete bullshit). The old way(giving you 24 hours) was much better. But the app is a keeper. I will have it on my phone for as long as I have android on my phone.

PS +1. Does anyone know if android market will ever except paypal? I'd rather use that online than a credit card.

I skipped trying anything with astro (for now) and followed the method described in the OC thread I linked to in my earlier post. My internal free space jumped from 21 to 106 mb!!! In Malez Recovery, go to "other" menu and move dalvik and apps to sd.

Looking in LCR Settings, I see that /system stayed at 150/200MB, /data dropped from 173/200MB to 89/200MB and/cache stayed at 2.7/41.88MB. The SDCARD FAT32 stayed at 3.32/14.42GB and SDCARD EXT2/3 jumped from 24.4/457GB to 108/457MB. Just thought people might want to know what goes where when you perform this function.

I'm curious how much space you recovered with root explorer?

And I agree, kinda silly that market doesn't accept paypal. For now, I will always use a prepaid debit mastercard for my market purchases! Much safer than using my own credit card :)

I moved about 30 mb's worth of apps. I don't really want to move stuff to my sd card. It's only class 4, so I'm afraid it will slow things down. Otherwise I would consider moving dalvik cache. I think my setup is pretty good right now though.
