SMSC problem

I can't send SMS messages from my SF (message not sent), but I can receive them and send MMS normally. I found that I should enter a SMSC number in Phone info menu, but when I try I always get "update error" :S I also tried different ROM, didn't help... Currently on Hedgehog.

Help anyone?

Just tried a different SIM and it worked fine. So do I have to get a new SIM from my provider?

How old is your sim? Some really ones ones are iffy in newer smartphones. . .

My Vodaphone SIM is over 15 years old & I've never had a problem with any phone!

Thats not to say all old SIMs work, its just to show that some really old SIMs do work!!

btw 4Tech, which network are you on.

SIM is less than 2yr old. I'm on Mobitel in Slovenia. I tried SIM from different provider and a SIM from the same provider and they both worked. So I guess I need a new SIM...
