New Android Market

I've received an update on my Desire running a MCR which I believe is the new market. However when I try to install it, it fails. Upon further inspection it gives a signature check failure so I've disabled signature verification in ClockWordMod and attempted to install the update manually but still it won't install.

I've also tried to load Paul's market.apk which he posted a few days ago but that fails too.

Any advice?

I've got the new market, but don't revive any update, I think the market is just an html site.

So has no one else with an unlocked Desire running a MCR been offer an OTA in the last couple of days?

You can't install an OTA on a rooted phone without it kicking up issues so ignore the OTA and wait for Paul to update the MCR

Since today i have a market problem apart from that...

i am not able to download and install apps.. :-/

yesterday i installed a modaco rom the first time on my desire, at the end everything went fine, i installed a bunch of apps.

today every app i want to install is preparing for download, but before a single bit of data is loading the download stops without any error or message an nothing happens... no loading bar nothing..

any suggestions?

Try Settings->Apps->Manage Apps->All->Market->Clear Data/Clear Cache.

It happens sometimes with the Market, nothing to get too concerned about.

i tried it now twice but it has no effect on the problem.. :)

install --> download symbol shows up in status bar --> download symbol vanishes in status bar --> thats it...

Mmmh..clearing the data worked for me in the past but i haven't been using modaco roms for the past three months now so this is not something i have experienced lately..you could try booting into recovery and wiping the cache partition + dalvik cache...you won't lose any data, first boot after wiping will take some time and maybe that will fix it.
