corrupted sd card unformatable

hi, so yesterday when putting themes and icons etc onto my phone, it rebooted as normal but i got a error in the status bar saying damaged sd card. im gutted as now i have to copy 16gig of data back across.... and repartiton my sd card, however with the phone booted if i try to toggle usb it wont work, if i try to connect from my pc it wont work, if i do the same in recovery it gives me unmountable errors. while in recovery i have the option to format on my pc, but then i get the error that i cannot format E: :)

any ideas? dont particularly wanna go and buy another sd card

oh im also stuck in a bootloop now for some unknown reason, so i can only get as far as the spinning cyanogenmod android dude or recov

Buy a new card. Seriously, that's pretty much all you can do.

:'( im gunna try to borrow an sd card reader off someone and give it afinal try formatting that way, if that fails them looks like im forking out more money for an sd card :)
