You have to use the SMTP settings for your Mobile network. ie. Orange, O2,3,Vodaphone etc.

Well have had to go back to my trusty Nokia 5230 :-(

Just cannot get email to work

I think I might return the phone to orange for a refund

I have seen a thread to rebrand the phone Orange and delete clockwork. Is there a way to "lock" the phone back to Orange again?

Thanks

Steve

You use the smtp.gmail.com server, using SSL at port 465, and use the Gmail address and logon to it. Furthermore you tell Gmail via the webinterface that you want to send on behalf of your address, you get a verification code and use that to confirm you are allowed to send on its behalf.

It's completely independent of the email client. Maybe you should try things rather than just asking, you'll learn a lot more from that :)
