Notification bar on the bottom?

Hi, Just been looking at the shots of Gingerbread running on tablets. The notification bar on the bottom of the screen makes much more sense, to me anyway. I wonder if its possible to do this with 2.2 this also makes a bit more sense that there are no buttons on the front of the Advent Vega. If this could be an optional setting it would be very usefull.

perhaps you could ask the people working on the lcr rom for the acer liquid.

acer liquid is the only device i know right now that natively supports a taskbar on the bottom of the screen(part of the breeze UI, but the team behind lcr managed to get it working without requiring the entire breeze UI running)
