Guest davidtan Posted December 16, 2010 Report Posted December 16, 2010 I've just installed the latest Clockworkmod onto a TFT Orange San Francisco and there is now a serious blue tint on everything on the phone (I've also reflashed to MoDaCo 2.2 Alpha 4). I've followed the instructions exactly and I can't understand why this has happened. I've followed the procedure with no problems on three OLED San Francisco phones and never had this problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Guest The Soup Thief Posted December 16, 2010 Report Posted December 16, 2010 Could it be that this handset is TFT and you've flashed an OLED only ROM to it? Maybe try Sebastien404's r7 - that's happy on OLED and TFT

Maybe try Sebastien404's r7 - that's happy on OLED and TFT Alpha 4 is meant to be OLED and TFT compatible. In any event, the blue tint happened after Clockworkmod on the default Orange rom. I thought it would be fixed with the MoDaCo ROM but it is still not working.
Guest jurrasstoil Posted December 16, 2010 Report Posted December 16, 2010 (edited) use CWM 2.5.0.9. The .1.3 seems to cause problems for some people. iirc blue tint is usually a oled rom on a tft device tho. Edited December 16, 2010 by jurrasstoil
Guest davidtan Posted December 16, 2010 Report Posted December 16, 2010 I've realised the problem - it's because I put on superboot root image. Is there a default one available to restore it with?

Sorry - my bad - rechecked it and you're quite right - glad to hear you got it sorted

You're right, superboot and TFT don't mix as I found out lol. I cured the problem by flashing the stock orange TFT rom (ends B08) to lose the blue tinge and then you can flash another suitable rom. If needs be universal android root from the market rooted my TFT OSF with no problems.
