You can also update to GoogleMaps 5 with the market! :)

I see it on the market with no problem. It's made for all devices... It's just that the new features require certain hardware requirements. I tried the on from the market, and it IS a little faster. But then I tried THIS ONE, and the vector images and compass work (I personally just tried the vector images). It works great
