Android "remote controlling"?

Hi guys:)

So, you can "remote control" the calendar by going to calendar.google.com.

You can control your contacts by going to contacts.google.com.

Is there any way to remote control sms sending and reciving?

And is there a way to make calls, over the net using the phone?

The thing is I´ve forgot my phone at home, and that made me think it would be cool if I could still be sending and reciving texts for instance via the net during this time and if it should ever happen again.

Can this be done?

Kind Regards

Asselberghs

I don't think so as your Google account is in sync with your phone. Your non-Google functions are not

I have found what I want. And in fact I knew already. Google Voice can´t get it a I live in Europe. bummer, will it ever get here? or is it US exclusive for good?

Edit: I may have found something if it works I´ll post it.

The trick works potentially but I´ve backed out, it can´t be done cheaply it would cost too much.

We´ll just have to wait and see if Google decides to be nice and share it with us european folks.

I found my trick here: http://www.mikeslife.org/content/how-get-g...r-anywhere-else

and used ProXPN as my proxy to sign up.

The problem is no unlimited sms sending using skype it dosen´t cost much but it´s only dependant on skype credit and I find it not cheap enough to be worth fueling my skype account.

The only thing I wanted from this was to read SMS online and for that it´s too expensive I think.

Anyone got any other ideas? for reading sending and reciving sms online with the HTC Desire Android phone?

Hmm HTCSense.com can do what I want to be able to do, just not available for HTC Desire only Z or HD hopefully it will be. Can it be cheated if Paul get´s the Desire HD rom ported to Desire and one installs that? would it then work maybe? in either case, I´ll just sit down and relax until such time that htcsense.com can be used on my phone, one way or the other.

HTC Sense works on the Desire - you just need a HD ROM. Plenty of those available at xda-developers (Modaco is currently well behind). My current favourite is here and has taken over from MCRr9 as my everyday ROM:
